Foreign beer

Those with a more foreign tastes can look forward to an eclectic range of bottled beers from several parts of Germany, representing several different styles. There will also be up to six draught German beers on at a time.

The German beers will range from Helles, the standard German "light", similar to pilsener lager, through wheat beers, nowadays usually served cloudy, to Dunkel, which is darker and more malty. Regional specialities are likely to include the hoppier beers from Cologne and the unique Rauchbier style from Bamberg, produced using smoked malt. No doubt, there will also be one or two surprises.
